The Dream Team

The Thursday volunteers call themselves “The Dream Team”. The group consists of six members. Together, they have accumulated forty nine years of service. Two members of the team travel sixty miles each week to volunteer at Kingsway Charities. Another member travels forty miles weekly. While these numbers are impressive, they agree the fellowship is priceless. The team is made up of members from various backgrounds – banking, mining, teaching, pharmaceutical, and electronics. Working together, the team has become a close-knit family. They agree gathering around the lunch table, “is a time of sweet fellowship each week.”
The Dream Team’s mission is to pick and package, with accuracy, medicine and supplies for medical missionaries. The medical mission teams will address the physical problems of hurting people, as they share the love of Jesus Christ to those in need throughout the world. It is a joy to be able to serve our Lord at Kingsway Charities. What a great ‘DREAM TEAM’ we have to champion the cause of Jesus Christ.
