|John M. Gregory
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
John Gregory founded King Pharmaceuticals Benevolent Fund in 1993, which was the forerunner to Kingsway Charities Inc. He serves as chairman of the board of directors and is the chief executive officer for the ministry. He is the managing partner for SJ Strategic Investments LLC, a successful Bristol, Tennessee, investment firm. Trained at the University of Maryland as a pharmacist, Gregory began his career in Bastian, Virginia, where he opened the town’s first retail pharmacy. He later expanded the business by co-founding General Injectables and Vaccines (GIV), a company that supplied injectables and vaccine products directly to physicians’ offices. As president and CEO, Gregory turned GIV into a successful enterprise with 550 employees and annual revenues exceeding $150 million per year. In 1993, Gregory and his family purchased King Pharmaceuticals in Bristol, Tennessee, which they transformed into a Standard & Poor's 500 Index Company with revenues exceeding $1 billion. Gregory received the 2002 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award (health sciences category) and the 2008 American Free Enterprise Medal from Palm Beach Atlantic University, Palm Beach, Florida. John and his wife, Joan, have two children.
|Mary Ann Gregory Blessing
President and Chief Operating Officer
Mary Ann Blessing has played an integral role at Kingsway Charities since 1993. She serves as president of the board of directors and is the chief operating officer for the ministry. In addition to her service at Kingsway Charities, she is on the board of directors for Haven of Rest Rescue Mission, The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center and The Lazarus Foundation. She also serves on the Board of Governors for King College, the advisory committee for Christian Cheerleaders of America, and is a board member of the Gregory Leadership Council at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Mary Ann and her husband, Herschel, have three children and six grandchildren.
|Joan P. Gregory
Joan P. Gregory serves as secretary for the board of directors at Kingsway Charities. She works as vice president of SJ Strategic Investments LLC, a successful Bristol, Tennessee, investment firm. Joan received her associate degree in nursing from Montgomery College in 1977 and is a registered nurse. She has worked as a staff nurse at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, and at what is now Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia. She is on the board of directors for The Lazarus Foundation in Bristol, Tennessee. She has been an active volunteer in the community with several nonprofit organizations. Joan and her husband, John, have two children.
|Gregory J. Tebeau
Gregory J. Tebeau serves as Treasurer of the board of directors for Kingsway Charities. He is currently chief financial officer for SJ Strategic Investments LLC, a successful Bristol, Tennessee, investment firm. Previously, Tebeau served six years as executive vice president of finance for King Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he was responsible for daily accounting operations and internal financial reporting, as well as oversight of tax-compliance filings and audits with federal, state, and local government agencies. The executive’s background includes 11 years in public accounting, which led to a position as vice president of taxation for a Washington, D.C., firm specializing in nonprofit entities. While in the nation's capitol, Tebeau also served as a senior accountant for Robert Philipson and Company. He has also held positions as comptroller for a medical device consulting firm and treasurer for a government relations and management firm. Tebeau holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Maryland. Greg and his wife, Diane, have four children and six grandchildren.
|Herschel P. Blessing
Herschel Blessing has served on the Kingsway Charities Board of Directors since 1993 and is an active volunteer in the ministry. Blessing is employed by Gregory Pharmaceutical Holdings as vice president of logistics in Bristol, Tennessee. His previous background includes serving as senior vice president of logistics for Graceway Pharmaceuticals, executive vice president of logistics at SJ Strategic Investments and as executive vice president of distribution at King Pharmaceuticals. Blessing serves on the Board of Governors for King College. Herschel and his wife, Mary Ann, own and operate What A Blessing! Farms in Bristol, Tennessee, where they are actively involved in breeding, raising and showing Tennessee Walking Horses. They have three children and six grandchildren.
|Joseph R. Gregory
Joseph R. (Joe) Gregory, along with his family, founded King Pharmaceuticals in 1993. Under his tenure, King Pharmaceuticals, now a Fortune 500 Company, grew from a 100-employee startup to having more than 2,200 employees and $1.6 billion in sales. Gregory is president and CEO of Gregory Management Company LLC, an investment management firm located in the now restored post office (The Old Custom House) in Bristol, Tennessee. He is also president and CEO of Epic Secure Solutions, a software technology company, which battles Internet pornography. In addition, he heads the Gregory School of Pharmacy Advisory Committee at Palm Beach Atlantic University and serves on the board of trustees for Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is a Gold Circle member of the Council for National Policy and chairs the Ring of Freedom National Advisory Council of the National Rifle Association. He and wife, Cindy, run a private charitable foundation called The Master’s Table that focuses on children’s ministries. They have two children.
Carol Shrader has served on the Kingsway Charities Board of Directors for 10 years. She is vice president of finance for Conger Dental Supply Inc., where she oversees corporate deposits and accounts receivable and handles collections and record keeping. Carol and her husband, Bill, have one child and two grandchildren.
|Wiley E. Webb
Wiley Webb is the president and broker of Earl Webb Real Estate Inc., in Bristol, Tenn., a company specializing in residential, commercial and industrial property sales; site location; and property management. He holds realtor licenses in Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina; and has held various positions on the Bristol TN/VA Board of Realtors, as well as the Tennessee and Virginia Associations of Realtors. Webb holds a bachelor of science degree in education from Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee, and was a United States Air Force pilot (1967 to 1973) in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Webb is a board member of the Mike Jenkins Evangelistic Association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Board, Henry Linginfelter Evangelistic Association and Haven of Rest Rescue Mission of Bristol Inc. Advisory Board. He is also a scout leader who holds the Wood Badge designation from The Boy Scouts of America, Sequoyah Council. Wiley and his wife, Kay, have two children.
